My Story

I am obsessed with combining rustic and glam elements in my jewelry & mixed media creations. I often incorporate vintage & antique components, found objects, sparkling re-purposed rhinestones and unexpected curiosities.

I was introduced to jewelry at a young age by my grandmother who worked for the Vogue jewelry company in NYC in the 1940's and 50's which was later acquired by Les Bernard.

I worked for many years for various companies in the jewelry industry.

La Belle Savage (pronounced the French way) was an idea I had in 2008. The name expresses my fascination with combining elements of opposition.

Since then, I've come and gone from the land of jewelry. I've been captivated by different artistic techniques including digital illustration, graphic design, collage and sculpture. Now in 2022, I find myself with a renewed passion in jewelry creation.
